I'm going to be around EVO this weekend, so if there are any deviants around there it would be nice to meet.

I'm gonna check Marvel vs. Capcom 3!
Remember, no vuvuzelas allowed!

Btw, here's my demo reel from the animation course I took at vanarts, to show I haven't been totally dead: [link]

See ya peoples.

I thought I'd drop by, I guess. I should have a better reason to do so (like, I dunno, tell you what I think of your art) but that's apparently too polite, so I might as well litter your page while I'm being such a jerk (I kid, of course, just trying to beat any awkwardness down, or something nobody but I would understand, I suppose).

Well, I haven't been heard of for a while, I haven't bothered anyone or killed anybody, but I guess this hiatus was mostly because I dropped art for a while. I got frustrated at some point, something about not improving.

Anyway, I came back to your page when I was thinking about all that, recently. I saw your stuff and was all, "hey, remember when he adapted your style for noses, Tony? Just a line, a bridge, 's all there is to it."

I just really thought about that, y'know? Artists share. They share a lot. It's how we end up with good artisans, good people, but really talented artisans. They go off and write blogs about how they accomplish their styles, and they watch other people do things that were never done, before. All this time of observing, but I've still yet to find another artist that came up with my nose design, too.

I guess it then clicked: The art community (well, I guess you, if you really want to count adapting a nose bridge style as the following BS I'm about to spew) had profited off of my sharing, and I never went out to grab a slice, myself! I've been just *so* "give, give, give," apparently!

I had drawn a picture adapted from a space ecosystem, but either it never registered or I forgot all about sharing (so it doesn't count?! Am I supposed to have a point to this fat wall of text?), but that aside, the point is that I'm gonna give art another shot. This time I'm going to, you know, get out there, or whatever basement/attic-dwelling computer nerds like myself don't do, and actually look for ways to make this show look better.

I know that I kind of waddled up to you that long (not) time ago (and oh, how cute was that!), but I think that the whole thing about you adapting the style was that I really liked the whole sharing thing that goes on with people about art.

I mean, I really like sharing shit. I try to tell people what sharing means to me and it goes over their heads because they're in the clouds about copyright and intellectual property and patenting and all that other stupid poo poo, and I don't care about that. Sometimes I just feel like an alien, or something, but whatever.

I guess this means that I'm giving this whole art thing another shot, then. I guess I have myself and you to thank for bringing me back into it.
